In the Summer of 2023 I was approached about creating a logo for an independent clothing brand.

I was asked to create a black & white logo form that was “dramatic and feminine.” The client provided a personal sketch of the general shape and details that they wanted to include.

I created around 30 roughs before deciding on the top 5 to go over with the client.

The client had originally only asked for a logo image, but after I had it completed she asked me to go ahead and work on logo type for her. The only direction I was given was to make it beautiful but powerful, and feminine. Through a mix of type choices I came up with what you see here.
