CLASS PROJECT
ELDRITCH MAGAZINE
In the Spring of 2022 my graphic design professor assigned the class a semester-long project of creating a full 50 page magazine on any subject we wanted.
From front cover to back, Eldritch Magazine was completely designed by me. Eldritch is a tabletop and wargaming magazine dedicated to things like Dungeons & Dragons, and Warhammer.
Design wise, I drew inspiration from magazines like Raygun and Dragon Magazine, as well as underground music zines of the 1990s.
Every picture, layout, illustration and even the masthead is an original piece by me. The only exception being the articles that were taken from various cited sources.

This project was a lot of work but it really allowed me to use my creative freedom and play with the many elements of design.
From typography, to composition, to contrast and layout, working on Eldritch magazine felt personal as it was an expression of myself and my interests.
I used my own props, miniatures and illustrations to create what essentially is a love letter to fantasy, science-fiction, and tabletop gaming.
